I spent the weekend with Marianne Williamson last week.

If you don't know, she's running for president. Again.

I am volunteering for her campaign and had the pleasure of being on a few Zoom calls with her.

She's generously shared what's going on behind the scenes and has taken the time to answer any and all volunteer questions, campaign-related or not.

Last weekend, she was here in LA speaking at multiple events -- a few of which I got to help out with. 

Talk. About. Visible.

So much of the fear I hear about from my students, clients and friends is the fear of visibility. 

What will they think? 

What will they say? 

What if they think "I'm too much"?

I don't want to seem needy/ greedy/ annoying/ like I just want their money...   

👉 Marianne has been called "the crazy crystal lady," "woo woo," "un-serious" and more. 


👉 She's been accused of running because "she's just on a book tour and wants to sell more books." 

👉 She has been dis-invited on major news networks (like Kaitlin Collins' new show on CNN) or simply not invited at all (like X Spaces on Twitter with Elon).

👉 She is being "invisible-ized" because her message isn't aligned with the corporatist DNC agenda. 

👉 Some of her close (famous) friends have not given her a formal endorsement. 

And yet, she's persisting. 

🌟 She's persisting because she is SO committed to her message and she knows we have no time left to lose. 

🌟 She's persisting because there is a fire in her soul that allows her to ignore and shake off the downright meanness of some people online. 

🌟 She's persisting because her commitment to getting her message out there is stronger than any fear or doubt she may come up against. She's 100% certain she can make a difference.

She didn't decide to run for president because she thought it would be easy. 

Or she thought she would be treated fairly. 

Or she thought she'd be immune to people flat-out lying about her. 

And you didn't decide to start a business or to enter into a creative field or to initiate social change because you thought it would be a cake walk. 

You did it because you had to. 

You did it because you yearned for it. 

You did it because you love it. 

And with that decision comes increased visibility.

And with increased visibility, comes increased vulnerability.

But what I want you to know, friend, is that you can handle it. 

🤨 You can handle the next level of success -- even if it comes with some trolls. 

🤨 You can handle more people knowing your name -- even if it comes with more people not liking you. 

🤨 You can handle asking for (and receiving) more money -- even if people accuse you of selling out or not spending that money "the right way." 

👉 You have what it takes. 👈

That's why they are so tall and flexible.

There will be "storms" in your life as you get more visible. 

I guarantee it. 

But you have the power to sway with that energy instead of succumbing to it. 

You can trust that your roots are deep enough to withstand the winds and the rain -- in any situation -- and you will be stronger for it.
